🖤 Async ways of working are becoming a big talking point in this new remote / hybrid working world, and companies are starting to embrace it. But unless you are intentional with how you set your business up for async, it will be tough. Taking the time to document, provide guidance etc is such a great idea and we love that Checkly have devoted space on their handbook to this. Awesome work from Checkly. 👏

Checkly is a fully remote startup; that's great and comes with many benefits and already quite some freedom of where we work! However, we strongly desire to take the next step and make Checkly Async by default.
Synchronous comes from the Greek prefix syn, "together" and chron, meaning "time". The opposing term, asynchronous, and by extension asynchronous work, literally translates to "not-together time" or "without-together time".
