🏝️ Retreats

We love being a remote company and all the advantages it brings us. We also realise how much value there is in in-person interactions. That's why we organize 2 team retreats per year to get as many team members as possible in one physical location for a couple of days.

💳 $1,500 Learning, Visiting & Wellbeing Budget

With this budget, we are able to travel to co-work with your team. The people and operations team scheduled a team meet-up in Berlin using this budget! You can read more about how the team uses this budget here.

📆 Weekly Kick-Off Meeting

Each Monday we have a kick-off meeting with the whole company. This allows us to connect with each other, get news and updates about the company, and make sure our efforts stay aligned.

💬 Slack:

Slack is our virtual office, where we not only continuously communicate about what we're working on, but we also make space for non-work-related chatter:

• Our #social-random channel is used to send articles or just throw in some random thoughts we have throughout the day. Some might call it “office chatter”

  

• Our #social-pets channel is used to send funny or cute pictures of pets

  

• The donut bot pairs team members up for a virtual coffee every two weeks

• Our #social-move-your-body channel keeps us motivated to do good for our bodies and is a place for us to share our accomplishments

• Some team members have built the habit to ask others if they'd be up for a spontaneous tea break together
