Logging in to Slack and saying hello is how you "show up" for work every day. It's our remote work equivalent of being in the building.
When you don’t want to be bothered, don’t log out. Instead, change your Slack "status." (You are also totally welcome to turn off your notifications so you won't be bothered by the app.)

Log out at the end of your day, so people know you won’t be back until tomorrow.
